Waveforms, time, volume, seek, pause and stop stay available without changing the Live layout size.

Targeted actions and automatic ducking
A later cue can let audio continue, fade it, stop it or temporarily lower it. Other audio returns automatically when the ducking audio ends, without affecting unrelated tracks.

Go back, skip, reset or deliberately continue after a preflight warning when the real situation requires it.
